Hebert Foundry & Machine, Inc., opened its doors in 1912. Since that time, our family owned and operated business has kept pace with the industries we service by staying on the cutting edge of sand casting and precision CNC casting machining technology. In order to service our clients better, HFM is one of the few foundries that also has Precision CNC Machining capabilities.
HFM is proud to offer state-of-the-art custom precision CNC (computer numeric controlled) machining. Our staff of highly trained professionals can assist your company’s team with every aspect of the component production process; from pattern conception and design, to prototype, to production, machining and assembly.
HFM machines our in-house produced sand castings as well as wrought bar stock and extrusions in a variety of materials. Because of our CNC machining capabilities, we can drill, tap and finish parts on site- without involving an intermediate machine shop.
HFM produces complex metal molds and die cavities, typically in MIC-6 aluminum tooling plate. Non-ferrous castings can be supplied in sizes from fractions of an ounce to 400 pounds; from 3/8 inch to 120 inches in width or length; and from one piece to tens of thousands of units. We deliver tight tolerances, on-time and on-budget.
HFM provides precision CNC machined castings with secondary operations such as anodizing, painting, plating, impregnation, helicoil insertion, and sub-assembly operations. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows HFM to machine wrought alloy rounds, rectangles and extruded stock. There are pictures throughout the website exhibiting machined components and sub-assemblies.
